Returns Policy

To be eligible for a refund, all purchases must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase.

Any product returned must be;

  • Full Price Item
  • In its original condition and packaging 
  • Unworn, unmarked and unwashed
  • Tags still attached, not crossed out or torn off
  • Swimwear hygiene seal in place and not broken

Please note, there may be delays out of our control when returning parcels back to our Perth HQ.

  • Pre-order items
  • NZ & International orders 

Australia Return Fees

Unless faulty, a return fee of $7.99 will be deducted from your total refund.


New Zealand and International Returns

We do not currently offer returns for International orders.


Requesting a Return

Please visit our Returns Portal to start the process. Have your order number ready and please note your return number generated for future reference.

A return label will be generated once you complete the online return process. Please re-use the original Rusty bag (it’s resealable), print the label out, fold and stick it to the satchel. Please also note your tracking number, as we won’t be able to complete the refund if the package does not reach us safely.

Once the package arrives at our Perth HQ, it can take up to 7 business days for your refund to be processed.

Please note, items returned to us cannot be resent back to you. Online purchases cannot be returned to any other stores.



We do not have an exchange process available. Please return your item via the return portal for a refund (minus the return fee) and place a new order for your preferred item which will be sent out as soon as possible.


Faulty Products

Please email our Customer Service team at with details regarding the fault, including your order number and photos of the issue. We will make a full assessment of the product and judge all returns of faulty products on a case-by-case basis.

Please do not create a return through our online returns portal, as we will provide you with a free of charge returns label. You’ll have the option of a refund or replacement, providing we have the product in stock.

Please note, we do not accept faulty products that were not purchased online at You will need to head back to the store of purchase with proof of receipt.


Creatures of Leisure Stock

We stock a small collection of Creatures of Leisure products. For leashes, Creatures of Leisure guarantees 2 years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee does not cover fin cuts, natural wear and tear, neglect or abuse. All other Creatures of Leisure products come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee does not cover natural wear and tear, incorrect application, neglect or abuse.


Futures Stock

We stock a small collection of Future Fins products. Futures offers a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects. This guarantee does not cover natural wear and tear, inappropriate use or alterations to the product and will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Futures Fins.
