What Are Cargo Pants?

Cargo pants, once made as a utility pant for the military were designed to be worn by British forces during the Second World War. Cargo pants had ample pocket space that allowed soldiers to carry necessary items like field dressings, maps, and other vital supplies on the battlefield while keeping their hands free.

Cargo pants are crafted from durable fabric and stitched with rugged strength. They are constructed using fast-drying synthetic materials or blends of cotton and synthetic fibres. Additionally, they often include larger belt loops to fit wide webbing belts.

How To Style Cargo Pants

Cargo pants have always been a pretty casual style of pant, not something you would wear to a nice dinner or formal event. Cargo pants are a streetwear item.

What To Wear With Cargo Pants?

Cargo pants pair well with something casual on top like a t-shirt or hoodie. Avoid wearing jackets with too many pockets or it might look like you’re in uniform.

As for the girls, the best way to wear cargo pants is to play with contrasts. A blazer is an ideal item to do so. Together with a pair of cargo pants, you can create an eye-catching look. Whether you’re off to work or to spend the day out, this look will bring you comfort and warmth for the chilly days without compromising your style.
