As the grunge inspired styles of the early 90’s evolved, a new genre of Punk music was emerging out of the Californian urban beach scene. With a blend of 50’s Hot Rod inspired style and 70’s anti-establishment attitude, it was a fresh take on the dark moodiness of the earlier Seattle scene. This period also hailed in the era of the Momentum Generation, a group of surfing outsiders that completely redefined the art of modern surfing.
