Because of you, the support of Little Creatures, our retailers and industry partners, we raised $10,000 to provide Coastcare grants to protect and improve the health of local marine and coastal environments.

Rusty are proud to launch their partnership with Coastcare with the release of the following grants.

Groups working on Coastcare activities in Western Australia are invited to apply for the 2018 Toast to the Coast Grants. Grants of up to $2,000 are available to fund projects that protect and improve the health of local marine and coastal environments.

Activities eligible for funding include:

€ Improving habitats through litter reduction
€ Rehabilitating coastal environments, including weed control, erosion control and planting
€ Increasing community awareness of the impacts of litter and pollution on marine plants and animals
€ Increasing capacity and profile of local Coastcare and community groups

If your group is based in Western Australia and would like funding for any of the above mentioned activities, please check out the guidelines and criteria to see if your project idea fits.

Applications can be submitted online by following a few easy steps:

1. Log into the Landcare Australia Communities Portal (or register if you haven¹t applied for grant before)
2. Click on Toast to the Coast Grants 2018 and Œcreate application¹. You can save your application as you go and log back in to finish it later.
3. Clearly explain your project idea and the environmental outcomes you expect to see.
4. Include a realistic budget.

Applications close at 12pm (AWST) on Monday 07 May.
