Returns Policy

To be eligible for a refund all purchases must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. Any product being returned must be…

  • In its original condition and packaging
  • Unworn, unmarked and unwashed
  • Tags still attached, not crossed out or teared off
  • Swimwear hygiene seal in place and not broken

Return Fee (Australia)
Unless faulty, a fixed fee of $7.99 will be deducted from the total refund.

Exclusions from Returns:

  • Surfboards and Surf Accessories
  • Pre-Order Products
  • Sale Items (Red Priced Items)

New Zealand Returns
Please email online@rusty.com.au and we will provide you with a return label. A return fee of $9.99 will be deducted from the total refund.

How to Request a Return:
Please visit https://rusty.com.au/a/returns to start the process and have your order number and email at the ready. Please note your return number generated for future reference.

A return label will be generated once you complete your online return. Please re-use the original Rusty bag (its re-sealable), print the label out, fold and stick to the satchel. If the package does not reach us safely, we won’t be able to complete the refund so please keep note of your tracking number.

Once received it can take up to 7 business day for it to get process and refund.
PLEASE NOTE items returned to us cannot be resent back to you!

Exchanges
You will need to send the item back to us via the above return process and place a new order as we do not have an exchange service in place.

Faulty Products
Please email online@rusty.com.au regarding the fault including your order number and photos of the issue. We will make a full assessment of the product and will judge all returns of faulty products on a case-by-case basis. We will then provide you with an address to send the faulty product back to us free of charge for other a refund or an exchange providing we have the product in stock. Please do not create a return through the online portal.

Please Note: We do not accept faulty products that were not bought online. You will need to head back to the store of purchase with proof of receipt.

Creature of Leisure Stock
We stock a small collection of Creatures of Leisure products. For leashes, Creatures of Leisure guarantees 2 years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee does not cover fin cuts, natural wear and tear, neglect or abuse. All other Creatures of Leisure products come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee does not cover natural wear and tear, incorrect application, neglect or abuse.

Future Products
We stock a small collection of Future Fins products. Futures offers a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects. This guarantee does not cover natural wear and tear, inappropriate use or alterations to the product and will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Futures Fins.
